About the Role

At BristolFilmfest, your work as an editor and content writer will be essential to producing entertaining and informative material that draws viewers in and encourages them to return for more. You can participate in every facet of our platform, from creating captivating articles, reviews, and features to editing and proofreading content for accuracy and clarity.

Responsibilities:

• Write excellent, unique content on a range of entertainment-related subjects, such as news from the business, movie reviews, TV program recaps, and interviews with celebrities.
• Make sure the content in the article is accurate and reliable by conducting in-depth research.
• Content should be edited and checked for consistency in style, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Plan content calendars, generate ideas with the editorial team, and participate in editorial strategy.
• To inform content creation, keep abreast of advancements in pop culture, industry trends, and audience interests.

Qualifications:

• bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a similar field.
  proven experience working as a journalist, editor, or content creator, ideally in the media or entertainment sector.
• outstanding editing and writing abilities, as well as a sharp eye for detail and the capacity to create gripping stories.
• strong research abilities and the capacity to condense difficult data into understandable and interesting content.
• Being able to optimize material for search engines and being familiar with SEO best practices are advantages.
