Hugh Dillon, co-creator, executive producer, and series regular of the Paramount+ series “Mayor of Kingstown,” has dedicated an episode in memory of his late brother, Jude Dillon.
Jude played a pivotal role in Hugh’s life, serving as a big brother, mentor, and number one fan.
The brothers grew up in Kingston, Ontario, closely supporting each other. Hugh became the lead singer of the band Headstones, while Jude showcased his talents in photography and literature.
Hugh announced the heartbreaking news of Jude’s passing on January 28 through Instagram, sharing a heartfelt caption,
“RIP my big brother Jude Dillon pictured here in our basement in Kingston in 1968 THANK YOU JUDE”

Jude Dillon was an award-winning photojournalist and a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston with a degree in English Literature.
His work has been featured in various online magazines and print publications across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Among his notable artistic contributions are two poetry collections, “The Fractured Garden” and “Happy There In My Agony.”
Jude, who resided in Calgary, Alberta, was also a skilled painter, having studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Additionally, he served as an editor for Gloom Cupboard, a European e-zine.
The “Yellowstone,” actor Hugh was a tremendous admirer of his brother’s work and often expressed his appreciation. In 2015, Hugh praised Jude’s artistic talents, saying,
“Some of you may already know his [Jude’s] stuff… He is and has always been a great artist/photographer. Since I was a kid, I have always found his images both hypnotic and breathtaking.”

Jude equally admired Hugh’s music. Inspired by his younger brother, Jude composed tunes and shared them on his YouTube channel.
In 2018, they had the opportunity to collaborate professionally, with Jude joining Hugh’s band to capture their incredible moments through his photography.
